I finally finished Nam Le's The Boat.  I would have finished long ago if it weren't for work.  An excellent read for sure.

Next up is One More Year by Sana Krasikova.  I happened to find it visiting Nam Le's website.

A stop at Barnes and Noble and I picked up a couple classics too, The Communist Manifesto and Nature.

The new Telefon Tel Aviv will be out at the first of the year, Immolate Yourself.  Some of the preliminary tracks don't do much for me, but it'll be hard to top Map Of What Is Effortless.

A few things that I've been enjoying lately. . .

The Boat by Nam Le

A brief excerpt. . .

I took you home
Set you on the glass
I pulled off your wings
Then I laughed
I watched a change in you
It's like you never had wings
Now you feel so alive

I've watched you change
